Wednesdays are all about delivering a new workout idea. Remember I'm not a qualified fitness instructor so read my disclaimer! Approach with CAUTION!
My attitude to fitness is much like my attitude to life. Full throttle. So be warned. Some of the routines I do are gonna hurt!! You may even need a little lie down afterwards. I don't really see the point in doing anything half heartedly and if you want to get results from anything, you need to throw yourself into it with gusto and COMMIT. Whether that's getting fit, reaching a new business milestone, achieving a personal ambition - having a clearly defined goal and tones of positive attitude and commitment to the cause will get you closer......quicker!
Having a strong core is the foundation for everything.
It helps you to connect and perform better not just in your exercise, but in your day to day life too. A strong core will keep you centred and ease off problematic back issues. It will also help maintain your posture which is crucial as you get older. I'm only 5 foot as it is - I need to stave off the stooping for as long as I can! Let's also not forget that a strong core looks bloody sexy too! Doesn't matter what age you are, having a toned tight waist and a flat tummy is always a winner.
This is an ab routine that you can incorporate into your daily workouts.
Just 5 key ab exercises, each repeated for 1 minute only. Pretty simples!
You can do it in front of the TV whilst you're catching up on Eastenders. Just you and your body, no equipment required although a timer would help otherwise that 1 minute will probably only be 30 seconds! Don't be lazy now girls!
