My candle gets burnt at both ends on a fairly regular basis.
Not sadly on the partying front these days, but definitely on the work, exercise and stress stakes.
A typical day for me might involve getting up at 4am dealing with some business in Australia I'm currently cultivating, then off to a Pilates or Barre class in the morning. Next I head to the office for a full day in my business and I might pop to a post work Metafit or Weights session. I'm home most evening for client conference calls with the USA. I might, if I'm lucky, finish up around 9pm then do some social marketing - AKA updating my Insta, Blog and Facebook. Probably I'm in bed by 10.30. REST AND REPEAT.
Rock and roll it aint! Productive it is.
Nah - no idea what the scooby doo's is happening in Eastenders.
And yes - I don't have children but I do have a very demanding Boo (that's Franco - he's "unique" - I'll leave it there)
This is usually me by 9pm!
But here's the thing.
This week I am feeling SUPER energised, full of vitality and positivity (well mostly anyway!) and generally bouncing out of bed at 4am not dragging my sorry arse out be-moaning life and what the day ahead might hold in store. The 4am start is part of a new routine we're trialling because of the Boo's shifts.
Being positive is a state of mind for sure and I am working really hard on being and staying positive in the face of crippling financial worries. I'm eating well, I have more than the occasional glass of red wine still (I genuinely think its therapeutic even though my PT is always encouraging me to ditch it.... sorry Anita!) but I've also just literally started taking a new set of supplements which I can 100% genuinely and without a shadow of a doubt say are contributing to my mental well being, helping me to manage my stress levels in a more positive way and also (and here is indeed the holy grail for me) helping what sleep I am getting to be of a much better and sounder quality.
I'm going to leave it hanging just there for now! See if I can't pique your interest a little. I'm going to carry on for another week with my wellness triangle of supplements just to see if I've talked myself into feeling better or whether I really am physically feeling better.
