So it's 5pm and its already dark. I'm indoors with a glass of red, the heating is on and I'm waiting for the Strictly Dancing results! Not very Rock and Roll I know but that's how I role on a Sunday evening.
Winter my dear FFF's, is officially upon us which means its time to cover off one of my favourite subjects, the humble winter coat!
Today I am focusing on one colour only, CAMEL.
Don't worry, black will feature another week but Camel is so on trend this season and looks lovely against all skin tones.
A fabulous Camel coat is a seriously great investment. If you have the cash, go splash on a divine cashmere one (M&S have a gorgeous one this season) but worry not, there is a wonderful selection available this year on the high street in various shapes, lengths and designs which are all fit for a fashionable 40's female and for all budgets.
Here's a few that I've been coveting for myself. I'll load a pic WHEN I make up my mind and go buy mine!
Following on this years trend for all things oversized and my much publicised love of the French labels, this one from Maje is pricey at £450 but its super stylish.
I love the slouchy effect, the belted detail and the super sized pockets.
From high street favourite, Oasis, this jacket is super versatile with a detachable faux fur collar. It's mid length so more flattering on the more petite frame and with its stylish tailoring and classic cut and fit, its a fabulous addition to your outerwear collection.
Currently on offer at John Lewis for £72 it won't break the bank either.
